IceWabanga Ice Pop and Silicone Popsicle Molds
I am screaming because I loved this item. My mom bought me one when I was little but they were all made into one big mold which made it need more space to store as well as a little more difficult to clean. With these they are easier to wash because each one is washed individually as soon after it is used. It is also easier to store because the molds can detach from the tray. This was the coolest feature to me once I received this item. We were able to pop them in and out how cool is that. You can make as many or as little as you like and don't have to take up the same amount of freezer space each time you make them. It is easy to store these half eaten popsicles if you don't want to eat it all and you can just put it in the side compartment of the freezer. This was great for my 3 year old who wants everything she sees everyone else with but then won't eat it all. The popsicle holders are actually great because when the popsicle starts to melt the little holder is deep enough to catch it and you can just sip it out.
My sons and I tried these with hawaiian punch and very ripe strawberries slices. They were out of this world amazing. The strawberry actually gave off a really sweet flavored when you bit into it. We also put the same mixture in the silicone icee molds. I have never tried the fruit in it before so I am actually very glad that I saw the image on the website with fruit in it. The silicon molds were an added plus to my purchase. They came in blue and red and my 3 year old daughter actually preferred the silicon molds. I am assuming because they were not as cold and the mold was softer and she could bite on the silicon. IDK!! I liked them as well because they reminded me of the little icees we at in Elementary school by Welch's but instead of biting on paper to eat the icee you are biting on silicon that will not come off in your mouth. But all in all we actually had a great time as a family making these. I will be trying these with the lemon and orange slices next time around. I definitely recommend this for a family with kids because it fun to see them actually make these on their own and be creative with what they put in them.
